In the never ending image production of the modern society is missing a sense of uniqueness, more and more pictures appear obviously similar to each other.
This is the consequence of the fact that only few artists have chosen to stand for their vision and develop a truly personal aesthetics, to see beyond the surface.
This silent statement is the main characteristic of Francesco Cascavilla's work. Even the most polish images are imbue with a sense of uniqueness, rawness and intimacy that capture the viewer.

Since the beginning of his career he has committed to explore and represent in his work an always wider universe of self expression, beauty and gender.

PERSONAL HISTORY
Born in Arezzo, Italy, Cascavilla moved to Berlin as a teenager where he developed a connection with the Queer Art/Fashion/Party scene of the city. Berlin's cultural landscape quickly became a source of inspiration for his early creations.
Recently, Cascavilla discovered new art realities in Latin America where he has begun to work. Cascavilla nowadays lives and works between Mexico City, Berlin and Rome.
His work has been featured in many publications including DROME Magazine, Collectibledry, Attitude Mag, Porncentual Magazine, DAZED, Male Model Scene, Vogue Poland, Tagesspiegel, The Artist Community, Metro, Kaltblut and the Book New Queer Photography among others.
